ABC/Heidi GutmanGreen Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has shared a batch of lyrics for a possible new song, but, unfortunately, they don’t make any sense.

On his Instagram, Armstrong posted a screenshot of his Notes app, featuring lyrics that he dictated out loud to his phone. The result is a garbled mess of words that’s entirely unintelligible.

“I was trying to use microphone voice speak thingy to write lyrics and this is what it thought I said,” Armstrong wrote in the caption.

If you’re curious, Armstrong’s microphone-translated lyrics are, “Gonna let it girl gave Forad rah is are we are back/get out gonna it girl is the rah rah case are are set/setting up a Balm but dinner gonna.”

Armstrong correctly described those lyrics as “complete nonsense,” but if you can make heads or tails of them, you have the rocker’s full support.

“Feel free to write a song with these lyrics,” he wrote.

While Armstrong didn’t specifically say that these failed lyrics were for a Green Day song, he did reveal in a recent Instagram Live session that he’s working on new music for the band. The punk trio’s most recent album is 2016’s Revolution Radio.
