The YMCA of Greater Michiana Spring Break Camps are back starting Monday, offering fun activities for all ages.
Youth Development Director at Benton Harbor-St Joseph YMCA Ryan Kitron tells us they will have two different programs for preschool and grade school children to keep them engaged during the week off.
“We’re offering opportunities for kids to come spend the day with us here, do gym activities, different crafts, get an opportunity to swim every day,” Kitron says. “We have a lot of fun activities planned.”
Each day will be filled with a different activity, including swimming, sports, arts and crafts, STEM activities, and some outdoor fun. Even if you’re not looking to join a camp, you can still take advantage of all the fun activities at the YMCA.
“Our gyms are going to be open so they can come in and do different gym activities,” Kitron says. “We have racquetball courts. We’ll have open swim times for the public to come in as well. We love for families to come in and take advantage of all the other things we have going on besides our programs too.”
Children can attend for the entire week or just for a single day. Registration for both programs is now open, which can be done online or in person.
Registration can be found here.
