St. Joseph High School students took first place in the high school division of the 38th Annual Berrien RESA Science Olympiad Competition held at Lake Michigan College’s Napier Campus on Friday.

Second place in the high school division went to Lakeshore High School, and third place was Buchanan High School.

In first place in the middle school division was Upton Middle School. Second place was won by Berrien Spring Middle School. In third and fourth places were Lakeshore Middle School and Bridgman’s F.C. Reed Middle School.

All seven teams will now advance to the State Science Olympiad competition which will be held this spring at Michigan State University.
