M-63 Niles Avenue is undergoing utility work for the next three days.

MDOT spokesman Nick Schirripa has tells us that permit work on southbound M-63 will take place throughout the week, from Napier Avenue to Hilltop Road.

“It could be a utility, gas line, water main, sewer, electric, something like that,” Schirripa says.

Work will be conducted until Friday at 5 p.m. During this time, there will only be one lane of traffic in each direction in addition to a lane shift. Remember to use caution when contractors are out working.
