The city of South Haven has announced that leaf pickup for spring 2025 will take place over three weeks starting at the end of March.

This year, each ward will have a designated week for collecting leaves and yard waste. Beginning on March 31, residents within city limits can place their bags or loose leaves at the edge of their lawn near the street for pickup. The city’s leaf truck will then come through each neighborhood to collect the waste using vacuum-type trucks.

Remember to not include garden trimmings, boards, sticks, or rocks in your leaf piles, as these items will not be collected.

If you miss the city’s vacuum schedule, you can bag leaves and bundle yard waste for collection by Best Way Disposal. Best Way Disposal will pick up yard waste weekly on the same day as regular trash collection, from April 1 to November 30.

April 7 – April 11: WARD 2
April 14 – April 18: WARD 3
